The man behind the iconic creations and beautiful gowns of the Star Magic Ball, Pepsi Herrera, has passed last February 10 at the age of 56 due to cardiac arrest. Some of his most famous work includes Kim Chiu’s Star Magic Ball gowns and Janella Salvador’s debut gown to name a few. He has also dressed famous celebrities such as Kathryn Bernardo, Nadine Samonte, Regine Velasquez and Aiko Melendez.
His business partner, Edwin Tan, posted on Facebook last February 10, a short prayer request for Pepsi in his passing.
He later followed it with a tribute post on Instagram, thanking everyone who has expressed their heartfelt condolences as well as his personal message to Pepsi.
Herrera’s burial was held on Sunday, February 12 at Heritage Memorial Park, Taguig City.
Meanwhile, stars are mourning over Herrera’s passing and celebrating his iconic craftsmanship in fashion.
